We were from outta town and saw a Chinese place highly rated and thought we'd try it. We were not disappointed. However, a little heads up in the food, which was very delicious, the 4 of us all ordered the small bowls and only one if us finished. They are very generous portions at a very reasonable price. We are at the restaurant, which was clean and pleasant, but they are heated more for take out than dine in. We would definitely come back.

THE BEST!!!!! Truly tastes like authentic New York Chinise. Husband and I both grabbed a big bowl and it is a very large amount of food. Plenty of leftovers for a day or two. Very clean storefront. Staff is super nice too!

Craving Chinese food on a midday Sunday, we visited Fun Chinese Cuisine for the first time and liked it! Cooked to order, sequential selections (protein + sauce + rice + veggies) make for a varied meal each time. Different sized portions simplify ordering. Carryout and eat-in options, plenty of parking. Family-owned independent restaurant. Excellent customer service, great leftover options with an unique bag. Loved my Garlic Chicken bowl with chicken egg rolls!

Great food! The love the owner and his wife put into getting excellent vegetables they use to food preparation , how they cook, food comes out absolutely fabulous! If you want authentic, superb, high quality food, this is the place! No loading orange chicken with sugar, you get actual orange chicken! Excellent!

Cute place in Ankeny hidden behind a gas station. The restaurant is small. Can probably seat 20 people. You order at the counter and pick your protein, starch and sauce. Overall I enjoyed this place! The flavor of the braised meat felt familiar and comforting. They also serve vegetables with the meal so it felt somewhat like a healthy rice bowl. Also thought the small size was plenty-I didn’t even finish it. Would definitely come back!

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! The food never disappoints. But the real kicker are the owners. I always leave feeling like they are truly grateful for the business and they remember us! They remember when I forget my favorite sauce and put it in the order just in case. An amazing spot you must try!

Excellent food and customer service. SO much food. We ordered small bowls and still had enough for another meal. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We had the braised chicken, braised beef & crab rangoon.

The owners were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious! We ordered the braised chicken and sesame chicken, and both were excellent. The portions were generous and very filling, especially for the reasonable price. Definitely a must try! 太好吃了😋

The braised beef was very flavorful and tender. The orange chicken was flavorful and crispy. The spring rolls were pretty good. The vegetables were not as flavorful, but good dipped in spicy garlic sauce. The spicy garlic was very good, but not spicy. We got the meals (largest bowl option) and the portion was huge! Service was so excellent here, staff is very attentive and welcoming. All sauces are free + free refills. Great takeout place, will definitely eat here again. Dining area and kitchen were both very clean.

This place is a little out of the way but it is very worth the wait to find it. The restaurant itself doesn't have much seating but it makes you feel cozy. The staff there is very helpful and courteous. I ordered the big bowl of orange chicken. The chicken was very delicious had a great flavor of orange but not too heavy. There was plenty of rice in the bowl almost too much I couldn't eat it. The staff came around made sure that if we need more power to get it or they could get it for us. I was very impressed with Earl rolling experience I would recommend it to anyone.
